About

Portrait Artist/Illustrator.

I love to draw and illustrate the female form. I work in inks from the basic beautiful black to the bold colours. I paint with watercolours and acrylics. I do use graphite, it is the medium I started my artistic journey with. There is so much detail that can be achieved with the smudges, shading and lines of grey pencil work.

My work is based on many emotions I am feeling at the moment. From the look of an eye to the fall of the hair. I work from photo reference and create something that connects to something within me. Girls are my Muse, the girls, as my models, are what I consider beautiful. Art is more than just lines on paper. It is an extension of self

.Many inspirations come from my love of, subculture , the freedom to be yourself. The French, the beautiful language, it’s streets, buildings, people and food. The 18th Century, the fashion and hair. Vampires, myth, Victorian, vintage, all things red, the unknown, Porcelain dolls, corsets, tea, absinthe, light and explosive colour, the dark.
